I have lived in Prince George for 54 years and all of my family has attended post secondary classes in Prince George. My favorite thing/s about Prince George is the nature that surrounds us and how quick it is to be away from it all. In 1959 my parents immigrated to Canada and were made welcomed by people who really cared about us.
I have lived and volunteered in Prince George almost all of my life. I love our community and believe that it is the people that make it such a great place to live.
I have lived in Prince George for almost 3 years. My wife Amanda and I have two boys who attend Ecole Lac Des Bois and love playing hockey. My favorite thing about Prince George is the people. People here tend to be warm and generous with both their time and money and are very community minded. That is why I am so excited about Connect PG because it helps highlight to newcomers one of Prince George's greatest assets, the people who call Prince George home!
Prince George has a community spirit that calls to me. It is an engaging spirit of support, volunteerism, and friendliness. Through the excellent balance of outdoor activities and community events available around our city, I'm captivated to love PG, as a 20 year resident.
I have lived in Prince George for 3 years. I am a nurse, my husband is a pastor at Westwood church. We are an active family with 3 school aged kids and a dog. We enjoy exploring the local trails, soccer, swimming, skiing, hockey and more.
I've lived here for 20 years. I've been married for almost 23 years, and have 3 teenage boys. My favourite thing about PG is definitely the people. I am a part of PG Connect because I want newcomers to know that people care about them and want them to feel welcome, and like they're finally home.
